European Economic Area
The European Economic Area (EEA) is a unique partnership that includes the member countries of the European Union (EU) and three additional countries: Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein. It allows these nations to participate in the EU's single market, which means they can trade and move freely across borders without tariffs or restrictions. This arrangement promotes economic cooperation and integration while allowing non-EU countries to benefit from the EU's economic advantages. However, EEA members are not part of the EU's political structures, so they do not have voting rights in EU decision-making.
