Electronic image stabilization

Electronic image stabilization (EIS) is a technology used in cameras and smartphones to reduce blurriness and shaky footage caused by movement while recording video or taking photos. EIS works by using software to analyze the image and adjust the frame in real-time, essentially cropping the edges of the image slightly to compensate for any unwanted motion. This helps create smoother and clearer videos, especially during dynamic activities or when holding the device in hand. Unlike optical image stabilization, which uses physical hardware, EIS relies entirely on software algorithms to enhance image quality.
