Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS)
Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) is a technology used in cameras and smartphones to reduce blurriness and shakiness in videos and photos. It analyzes the footage frame by frame, detecting camera movements and adjusting the image accordingly. By slightly cropping the video or shifting the image in real-time, EIS compensates for shaky hands or movement, resulting in smoother and clearer visuals. Unlike optical stabilization, which uses physical mechanisms, EIS relies on software algorithms, making it effective for stabilizing footage without requiring extra hardware. This is especially useful for action videos or when recording while moving.
