Jello effect

The Jello effect occurs when a video appears to ripple or wobble like the surface of gelatin, often caused by inconsistent or low frame rates in recording or playback. This happens because the camera’s sensor or processing struggles to capture smooth motion, resulting in frames that are out of sync or dropped. When played back, this misalignment causes a shimmering or wobbly appearance. It's common in low-quality video recordings, especially in fast movement scenes, and can sometimes be corrected with video stabilization software.
