Ejército del Norte
The Ejército del Norte, or Northern Army, was a military force during the Mexican War of Independence (1810-1821). It was one of several key military groups that fought against Spanish colonial rule. Comprised mainly of revolutionaries and local militias, the Ejército del Norte aimed to secure independence for Mexico. Led by notable figures such as General José María Morelos, the army engaged in significant battles and campaigns primarily in northern Mexico. Their efforts contributed to the eventual success of the independence movement, leading to Mexico's liberation from Spanish control and the establishment of a sovereign nation.
