Cluster sampling
Cluster sampling is a method used in statistics to gather data from a population. Instead of surveying individuals randomly throughout the entire population, researchers divide the population into separate groups, or clusters, usually based on geographic areas or other natural divisions. Then, a few of these clusters are randomly selected, and all individuals within those chosen clusters are surveyed. This approach is often more practical and cost-effective, especially when dealing with large populations, as it allows researchers to collect data from a concentrated area rather than spreading their efforts too thinly.
