Cheops, also known as Khufu, was an ancient Egyptian pharaoh who ruled during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom, around 2580–2560 BCE. He is best known for commissioning the Great Pyramid of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the largest pyramid ever built. Khufu's reign is marked by significant advancements in architecture and state organization. Although little written record remains about his life, his pyramid reflects the sophistication of ancient Egyptian society and remains a testament to their engineering prowess and cultural achievements.
