Castroism
Castroism is a political ideology based on the ideas of Fidel Castro, which incorporates elements of Marxism-Leninism adapted to Cuba's unique circumstances. It emphasizes anti-imperialism, social justice, and nationalism, advocating for the redistribution of wealth and the establishment of a revolutionary state. Unlike traditional Marxist-Leninism, which often promotes a vanguard party leading a proletarian revolution, Castroism also focuses on grassroots participation and the importance of popular support. It seeks to empower the working class while addressing issues like education, healthcare, and economic independence from foreign powers, particularly the United States.
