Casa de Austria

The Casa de Austria, or House of Austria, refers to a royal family that ruled over vast territories in Europe from the late 13th century to the 18th century. Most notably, it produced several Holy Roman Emperors and Spanish kings, including Charles I of Spain (also known as Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor). The dynasty is known for its political power, extensive marriage alliances, and influence in European conflicts, particularly during the Habsburg Monarchy's reign, which shaped much of European history through its connections and territorial claims.
