Canadian Alliance

The Canadian Alliance was a political party in Canada that existed from 2000 to 2003. It emerged from the Reform Party, aiming to unite right-leaning voters and challenge the ruling Liberal Party. The Alliance focused on conservative policies, advocating for reduced government size, tax cuts, and a strong focus on law and order. In 2003, the Canadian Alliance merged with the Progressive Conservative Party to form the Conservative Party of Canada, which continues to be a significant political force in the country today. This merger was intended to create a unified opposition to the Liberal Party.
