Brotherhood and Unity

Brotherhood and Unity is a key principle of Titoism, the political ideology of Josip Broz Tito, the leader of Yugoslavia from 1945 to 1980. It emphasizes cooperation and solidarity among the diverse ethnic groups within Yugoslavia, promoting a sense of togetherness and national identity despite various cultural differences. This approach aimed to prevent ethnic tensions and foster social harmony through joint economic and social development.
