Bacchus

Bacchus is the Roman god of wine, fertility, and revelry, equivalent to the Greek god Dionysus. He is often associated with the joy of wine, festivities, and the arts, symbolizing indulgence and the celebration of life. Bacchus is typically depicted as a youthful figure surrounded by vines, grapes, and followers known as maenads and satyrs. His festivals, called Bacchanalia, involved music, dancing, and the free-spirited enjoyment of wine. Bacchus represents not only the pleasures of drinking but also the deeper themes of transformation and ecstasy in human experience.
