Ariadne
Ariadne, in Greek mythology, is the daughter of King Minos of Crete. She is best known for her role in the story of Theseus and the Minotaur. When Theseus, a hero, entered the labyrinth to confront the Minotaur, Ariadne provided him with a ball of thread. He used it to navigate the maze, tying one end at the entrance and unwinding it as he went in, allowing him to find his way back out after defeating the creature. This tale symbolizes courage and cleverness, with Ariadne often seen as a figure of support and ingenuity in the face of daunting challenges.
