Attribution-Process
The Attribution Process refers to how people interpret and explain the reasons behind events or behaviors, particularly their own and those of others. When something happens, individuals try to understand it by attributing causes, which can be internal (related to personal traits or feelings) or external (related to the environment or circumstances). For example, if someone does well on a test, they might attribute their success to hard work (internal) or to a fair exam (external). Understanding these attributions helps us navigate social situations and influences our feelings, attitudes, and interactions with others.
