Assyrian community

The Assyrian community refers to an ethnic group primarily descended from the ancient Assyrians, who lived in what is now northern Iraq, southeastern Turkey, and parts of Syria and Iran. They have a rich cultural heritage, including their own language—Aramaic—religion (mainly Christianity), and traditions. Historically, Assyrians were known for their advanced civilization, including impressive architecture and contributions to literature. Today, due to historical conflicts and persecution, many Assyrians live in diaspora communities around the world, striving to preserve their cultural identity while adapting to their new environments.
