Alexander Hamilton

Alexander Hamilton was an important American statesman and one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. Born in the Caribbean in 1755, he played a pivotal role in shaping the nation after the Revolutionary War. As the first Secretary of the Treasury, he established the country's financial system, advocated for a strong central government, and introduced the idea of a national bank. He was also a key author of the Federalist Papers, promoting the ratification of the U.S. Constitution. Hamilton's vision and policies laid the groundwork for modern American economic and political systems. He was killed in a duel with Aaron Burr in 1804.
