
Philip Hamilton
Philip Hamilton was the eldest son of Alexander Hamilton, one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. Born in 1782, he was educated at Columbia College and had aspirations of a career in law and politics. Tragically, his life was cut short at age 19 when he was killed in a duel with George Eacker, which stemmed from a dispute over Eacker's criticisms of Alexander Hamilton.
