Workers' Control
Workers' Control, in the context of Titoism, refers to the practice of empowering workers in Yugoslavia to manage and make decisions in their own workplaces. This system aimed to decentralize authority and promote self-management, allowing workers to have a say in production processes and company policies without relying solely on a central government or party leadership. Titoism, named after Josip Broz Tito, emphasized a unique form of socialism that combined state oversight with local autonomy, fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility among workers while maintaining a collective national framework.
