wine making techniques
Wine-making involves several key steps. First, grapes are harvested, either by hand or mechanically. Next, the grapes are crushed to release their juice. For white wine, the skin is often removed immediately; for red, it’s left in for fermentation, which adds color and flavor. Yeast is then added to convert sugars into alcohol during fermentation. Afterward, the wine is pressed to separate solids from the liquid and may be aged in barrels to develop flavors. Finally, the wine is filtered and bottled. Different techniques and ingredients influence the wine's character, leading to a wide variety of styles and tastes.
