Weft yarn

Weft yarn refers to the threads woven horizontally across a fabric, perpendicular to the lengthwise threads called warp yarns. In weaving, the weft is interlaced with the warp to create the textile structure. While the warp provides strength and stability along the fabric's length, the weft adds flexibility and design. The combination of weft and warp yarns determines the fabric's texture, appearance, and durability. Weft yarn can vary in thickness, material, and color, allowing for a wide range of fabric types in clothing and textiles.
