Voronoi diagrams
A Voronoi diagram is a way to divide a space into regions based on the distance to a specific set of points, called "sites." Each region contains all the points that are closest to one particular site compared to others. Imagine you have several houses in a neighborhood, and you want to figure out which house is closest to any given spot. The Voronoi diagram helps visually represent this by creating boundaries around each house’s area of influence, ensuring that any point within a boundary is nearer to that house than to any other.
