Power Diagram

A Power Diagram is a type of geometric diagram that divides space into regions based on the distance to a set of points, called sites, each with an associated weight. Unlike traditional Voronoi diagrams, which assign each location to the nearest site, Power Diagrams consider both distance and weight, so some sites can "claim" larger or smaller areas depending on their weight. This makes Power Diagrams useful in applications like resource allocation and facility location planning, as they optimize spatial organization by accounting for the influence or capacity of each site beyond just proximity.
