Non-convex Polygons
Non-convex polygons, also known as concave polygons, are shapes with at least one interior angle greater than 180 degrees, causing them to "cave in" at certain points. Unlike convex polygons, where any line drawn between two points within the shape remains inside, non-convex polygons may have segments that fall outside the shape. An everyday example is a star shape, which features inward points. These geometric figures can be complex and are often used in various fields, including computer graphics and architecture, where understanding their properties is essential.
