Tier classification system

The Tier classification system is a method used to categorize countries based on their efforts to combat human trafficking. It has three main tiers: Tier 1 includes countries that fully comply with the Trafficking Victims Protection Act standards, Tier 2 includes those making significant efforts but not meeting all standards, and Tier 3 includes countries that do not meet minimum standards and are not making efforts to improve. This system helps governments and organizations assess and address human trafficking issues globally, guiding foreign aid and policy decisions.
