Theories of Motion

Theories of motion explain how and why objects move. Classical mechanics, developed by Isaac Newton, outlines three fundamental laws: an object in motion stays in motion, force is equal to mass times acceleration, and for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. These laws describe everyday movements, from a falling apple to a car accelerating. In contrast, Einstein's theory of relativity expands our understanding by showing how motion affects time and space, especially at high speeds. Together, these theories provide a comprehensive framework for understanding physical movement in our universe.
