Theoretical Particle Physics
Theoretical Particle Physics is a branch of science concerned with the fundamental components of the universe, called particles. This includes subatomic particles like quarks and leptons, as well as carrier particles such as photons that transmit forces between them. It involves understanding the properties, interactions, and behavior of these particles, providing necessary insight into the basic building blocks of matter and energy. Various theories including Quantum Mechanics and the Standard Model are used to analyze this field. In essence, it’s the study of the smallest entities and forces that make up everything we see and don’t see.
