The Senses

The senses are the ways we perceive the world around us. Humans typically have five main senses: sight (vision), hearing (auditory), taste (gustatory), touch (tactile), and smell (olfactory). Each sense is linked to specific sensory organs: eyes for sight, ears for hearing, taste buds on the tongue, skin for touch, and nose for smell. These senses help us experience our environment, communicate, and respond to stimuli. They work together, allowing us to enjoy food, appreciate music, and navigate our surroundings. Ultimately, our senses enrich our understanding of the world and enhance our daily lives.
