Temujin

Temujin, better known as Genghis Khan, was a Mongolian leader who unified the Mongolian tribes in the late 12th century. He founded the Mongol Empire, which became the largest contiguous empire in history after his death in 1227. Renowned for his innovative military strategies and leadership skills, Genghis Khan implemented a meritocratic government and promoted trade and communication across Asia. His legacy is complex; while he is celebrated for his unification and cultural exchange, he is also remembered for the widespread destruction and loss of life during his conquests.
