Pax Mongolica

Pax Mongolica, meaning "Mongolian Peace," refers to a period of stability and relative peace across much of Eurasia during the 13th and 14th centuries, following the Mongol conquests. Under the Mongol Empire, vast regions enjoyed improved trade routes, safer travel, and cultural exchange, thanks to the unified governance and protection provided by the Mongols. This era facilitated the flow of goods, ideas, and technologies between East and West, contributing to significant developments in commerce, art, and science. Pax Mongolica significantly impacted the interconnectedness of the world long before modern globalization.
