Tehran Conference

The Tehran Conference, held in November-December 1943, was a pivotal meeting during World War II involving leaders of the Allied powers: U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, and Soviet Premier Joseph Stalin. They gathered in Tehran, Iran, to plan the next major military strategies against Nazi Germany, including the coordination of an invasion of Western Europe (D-Day). The conference also addressed post-war plans, including discussions about the future of Europe and the establishment of the United Nations, aiming for global stability and peace after the war.
