
Ted Williams
Ted Williams was an American professional baseball player, widely regarded as one of the greatest hitters in the sport's history. He played his entire 19-year Major League career with the Boston Red Sox from 1939 to 1960. Williams was a two-time MVP, six-time batting champion, and the last player to hit over .400 in a season (.406 in 1941). Known for his exceptional batting skills and keen eye for the strike zone, he also served in World War II and the Korean War. After retiring, Williams was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1966.
