Strabismus

Strabismus is a condition where the eyes do not align properly; one eye may look straight while the other turns in, out, up, or down. This misalignment can be constant or intermittent and may affect one or both eyes. It can lead to issues with vision, such as double vision or problems with depth perception. Strabismus often develops in childhood but can occur at any age. Treatment options include glasses, eye exercises, or surgery, and early intervention may help prevent long-term complications like amblyopia (lazy eye). Regular eye exams are important for diagnosis and management.
