solid fuel rockets

Solid fuel rockets are propulsion systems that use a solid mixture of fuel and oxidizer to produce thrust. Unlike liquid rockets, where fuels and oxidizers are stored separately and combined during combustion, solid fuel is preloaded into the rocket and ignited all at once. When ignited, the solid propellant burns and releases gas at high pressure, propelling the rocket forward. They are simpler, more reliable, and often used in military missiles and space launch vehicles. However, once ignited, the burning cannot be stopped or controlled until all the fuel is consumed.
