Shanghai Maglev
The Shanghai Maglev is a high-speed train that uses magnetic levitation technology to travel quickly between Shanghai and its airport. Unlike traditional trains that run on tracks, the Maglev floats above the track, eliminating friction and allowing for smoother, faster travel. It can reach speeds of up to 430 km/h (267 mph), making it one of the fastest commercial trains in the world. The service covers approximately 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) in just about 7-8 minutes, providing a rapid and efficient connection for travelers between the city and Pudong International Airport.
