Scepticism

Scepticism is a philosophical approach that questions the certainty of knowledge. In contrast to empiricism, which emphasizes knowledge gained through sensory experience, scepticism challenges whether we can truly know anything at all. Sceptics argue that our perceptions can be deceiving, and that even widely accepted beliefs may be uncertain. This leads to careful examination of evidence and a questioning attitude towards claims about reality. While scepticism doesn’t reject knowledge outright, it emphasizes the need for critical thinking and an awareness of the limitations of what we can know.
