Sextus Empiricus
Sextus Empiricus was a Greek physician and philosopher, known as a prominent figure in Skepticism, particularly during the 2nd century CE. He advocated for a way of thinking that encourages suspending judgment about the truth of beliefs and claims. Instead of accepting definitive answers, he argued that one should remain open to doubt and consider multiple perspectives. His works, especially "Outlines of Pyrrhonism," emphasize the idea that certainty is difficult to achieve, promoting a lifestyle of inquiry and tranquility through the acceptance of uncertainty rather than dogmatic beliefs.
