Royal Bulgarian Army

The Royal Bulgarian Army was the military force of Bulgaria during the period when the country was a monarchy, specifically from the establishment of the kingdom in the late 19th century until the abolition of the monarchy in 1946. It played significant roles in various conflicts, including the Balkan Wars and World War I, aiming to expand national territory and influence. The army was known for its modernization efforts and a strong tradition of cavalry. After World War II, Bulgaria became a communist state, and the army was subsequently reorganized under the new regime.
