Roll Back Malaria

Roll Back Malaria (RBM) is a global initiative aimed at reducing malaria deaths and disease, particularly in regions where malaria is prevalent. Launched in 1998, it brings together various partners, including governments, international organizations, and NGOs, to improve prevention, treatment, and control strategies against malaria. Key efforts include promoting the use of insecticide-treated bed nets, providing access to effective medications, and increasing public awareness. By focusing on these areas, RBM seeks to significantly lower malaria's impact on health and development, particularly in African countries where the disease poses a major challenge.
