Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA)
Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) is a method for improved problem-solving and process improvement. First, you plan by identifying a goal and determining the best way to achieve it. Next, you do by testing the plan on a small scale. Then, you study the results to see what worked and what didn’t. Finally, you act by making necessary adjustments and deciding whether to implement the changes more broadly. This cycle repeats to continuously improve quality, efficiency, or outcomes in a systematic, data-driven way.
