Philippine government
The Philippine government is a democratic republic, meaning officials are elected to represent the people. It has three branches: the Executive, led by the President; the Legislative, made up of Congress (the Senate and House of Representatives); and the Judicial, which interprets laws. Local governments manage regions and cities. The Constitution defines the country's laws and rights. The government’s primary roles include providing public services, ensuring national security, and promoting social justice. While the Philippines has a rich cultural heritage, it faces challenges like poverty and political issues, which the government seeks to address.
