Pediatric Skin Disorders
Pediatric skin disorders are conditions that affect the skin of infants and children. Common examples include eczema, which causes itchy and dry skin; impetigo, a bacterial infection leading to red sores; and chickenpox, a viral infection characterized by an itchy rash. These disorders can arise from various factors like allergies, infections, or irritants. Treatment often involves keeping the skin moisturized, using medicated creams, or taking oral medications, depending on the condition. Although many of these disorders are temporary and manageable, they can sometimes cause discomfort and require medical attention for proper care.
