Pattern Recognition

Pattern recognition is a technology that allows computers to identify and categorize data based on certain features, similar to how humans recognize faces or voices. In fuzzy logic, this process is enhanced by handling uncertain or imprecise information. Instead of giving a clear yes or no answer, fuzzy logic evaluates data in degrees of truth. For example, when sorting images, it allows a computer to understand that a picture may be "somewhat" a dog rather than imposing strict categories. This ability to deal with ambiguity makes it powerful in applications like image processing, speech recognition, and decision-making systems.
