Object

In legal terms, an "object" refers to the specific thing or matter that a legal act or agreement is intended to affect. This could be property, a service, or a right. For a contract to be valid, the object must be lawful, clear, and possible to perform. For instance, if two parties agree to sell a car, the car itself is the object of the contract. If the object is illegal (like selling stolen goods), the agreement is not enforceable in court. Essentially, the object is what the law recognizes and governs in a legal situation.
