Numeration System

A numeration system is a method for expressing numbers using a consistent set of symbols and rules. The most common system is the decimal system, which uses ten digits (0-9) and is based on powers of ten. Other systems include binary (used in computing), which uses two digits (0 and 1), and hexadecimal, which uses sixteen symbols (0-9 and A-F). Each system has its own applications, shaping how we calculate, measure, and represent quantities in various fields, from everyday life to advanced technology. Understanding these systems is fundamental to mathematics and science.
