Northern Qi
Northern Qi was a Chinese dynasty that existed from 550 to 577 AD during a period known as the Northern and Southern Dynasties. It emerged after the fall of the Northern Wei dynasty and was characterized by its efforts to unify northern China. The dynasty is noted for its military strength and advancements in art, especially in sculpture and architecture. However, internal strife, including power struggles and corruption, weakened the dynasty. Ultimately, Northern Qi fell to the Northern Zhou dynasty, marking a significant shift in power in ancient China.
