Motivational Priming
Motivational priming is a psychological concept where exposure to certain stimuli or cues influences a person's motivation and behavior without their awareness. For example, if someone sees images or hears words related to success, they may feel more driven to pursue their goals. This effect occurs because the brain subtly activates related thoughts and feelings, shaping how we perceive challenges and opportunities. In essence, motivational priming helps to "prime" our mindset, making us more inclined to act in ways that align with the cues we’ve been exposed to.
