Priming Theory
Priming Theory suggests that exposure to a certain word, idea, or image can influence how individuals think or behave afterward. Essentially, when you're exposed to specific stimuli, it activates related thoughts or feelings in your mind, making them more accessible and likely to influence your responses in future situations. For example, reading words related to kindness might make someone more likely to act compassionately shortly afterward. This theory explains how subtle cues can shape perceptions and actions without us being fully aware of their influence.
