Mental States

Mental states refer to the various conditions of our mind, including thoughts, feelings, desires, and perceptions. Intentionality is the ability of these states to be about something, like when you think of a loved one or feel joy. Qualia are the subjective qualities of our experiences, such as the redness of a sunset or the taste of chocolate. Together, these concepts help us understand how our mental experiences connect with the world, reflecting not just what we think or feel, but how we uniquely interpret and engage with our experiences.
