Late Harappan Period
The Late Harappan Period (around 1900-1300 BCE) marks the decline of the Indus Valley Civilization, which was known for its advanced urban planning and trade. During this time, many major cities, like Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro, began to decline due to factors such as climate change, shifting rivers, and possible invasions. Settlements became smaller and more rural, with less consistency in urban planning and craftsmanship. Despite this decline, some cultural elements persisted, influencing later societies in the region, while the decline itself led to significant changes in social and economic structures.
