Late Harappan Culture

The Late Harappan Culture refers to the final phase of the Indus Valley Civilization, which flourished around 1900 to 1300 BCE in present-day Pakistan and northwest India. After a decline in urban centers like Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro, this period saw a transition to smaller settlements and a more rural lifestyle. The community began to adopt a mix of local traditions and new cultural influences, including the use of painted pottery and changes in trade patterns. Despite the decline, some aspects of the earlier civilization persisted, marking an important evolution in the region's cultural history.
